“Prince of Persia Uncovered”

I’m not a “rocket scientist” but I can read and understand what is going on in Iran. For example: Iran’s newly-acquired Russian designed BM-25’s have a range of almost 1600 miles, (about the distance from Iran’s border to Paris or London.) and are made to carry a nuclear payload.

• In July, ‘03, UN inspectors discovered traces of enriched uranium at Iran’s Natanz facility.
• In August ‘04, Iran tested its Shahab-3 medium range and nuclear-capable missile that set off alarms all over Israel.
• In July, ‘05, Mahmoud Ahamdinejad secretly resumed uranium enrichment and announced his country’s intention to annihilate Israel.
• In January, ‘06, Ahmadinejad broke the IAEA seals, openly resumed full-scale nuclear enrichment, and began importing high-speed centrifuge equipment designed specifically for the enrichment of weapons-grade uranium.
• The UN deadline to Iran to cease its nuclear enrichment program ended May 1, 2006.

The amazing thing is the President Ahmadinejad told the UN what he is up to. He’s told them that Iran has no intention of building a nuclear bomb and if anybody tries to stop them from not building a nuclear bomb they don’t intend to build, they’ll attack them with a nuclear bomb.

Secondly, Iran is building an arsenal of medium and intermediate range missiles designed specifically to carry the nuclear warheads. Ahmadinejad says he isn’t building to annihilate Israel and ‘cut off the hand of any aggressor’ who interferes.

Thirdly, Iran has proudly announced their technological breakthrough in centrifuge technology that will increase by many times Iran’s ability to refine weapons-grade nuclear material in sufficient quantities to make good on its threats to use the nuclear weapons it isn’t building.

Ezekiel 38:13 asks a question that seems so obvious. As the world tries to figure out what Iran is going to do, God’s Word has already told us: The Prince of Persia is becoming a world player in the last days. Its actions simply tell us, “Jesus is coming soon!”

“Let The Skeptics Sit Down!”

For too long the skeptics have had their way when it comes to the recordings of history in the Bible. With every chance they get they ridicule and malign anyone that even thinks about declaring it to be true. Well, now the Doubting Thomas’ can join the ranks of the believers.

Bill Wilson, KIN Senior Analyst reports that on June 5th, Bible Historian and explorer Bob Cornuke led an expedition of 15 geologists, historians, archeologists, scientists and attorneys on an exhausting mission 13,300 feet above sea level to locate and document the tremendous sections of Noah’s Ark located in the Ararat mountain range six hours North of Tehran, Iran. It had been essentially buried beneath the preservation of glaciers until last year when Iran recorded the hottest year on record which melted some of the snowcap revealing 450 by 75-foot footprint of the “object.”

After crawling on hands and knees miles above the earth’s surface in four below zero weather, the expedition found an altar, which could very well be the altar Noah built because it was made from the same materials they later found in the Ark. They found grapevines over two inches think in the area, of which the DNA from the grapes is the oldest known to man. [Genesis 9:20 says that Noah planted a vineyard]. But most amazing was the ark itself. It was found in sections, somewhat like a house that had collapsed over the years. Sections of petrified wood 12 to 14 feet high and 40 feet long were found. They found a huge pile of timber, thought to be floors or walls, in four-to-six foot sections.

“What’s Good For The Goose…”

Isn't it ironic? Both Israel and America are countries trying to address the problem of evil-doers crossing their borders.

The advocates for a U.S. fence are exhibiting frustration and becoming more vocal because of the flow of illegal immigrants crossing across our southern border with Mexico. Congress has passed bills instructing Homeland Security to construct a fence along our southern border. An idea once considered ridiculous for a 2,000 mile fence has now gained wide acceptance. Some are proposing it be 12 to 15 feet high, 50 yards wide, with coiled barbed wire stacked eight feet on each perimeter. The “Minutemen” last week began building a fence saying they were tired of waiting for Congress to enforce the laws and increase border protection. Reinforcing the idea of the need to secure the borders, Canadian law enforcement uncovered and arrested a terror cell that was planning a major strike.

While the debate goes on in America about a fence, Israel has been building a security fence to protect it from those that wish to see it destroyed. Israel's fence has cut suicide bomber entry by 95%. As a result, many nations are now consulting Israel about a fence that could be constructed using an Israeli design.

The irony is that both the U.S. and Israel are acting in self-defense to stop invaders. Both countries are getting heat from various sources for trying to protect themselves. However, America doesn't think the Israeli fence is a good idea. It's a good idea for America, just not Israel, even though Israel is blocking terrorists and many crossing our border with Mexico are terrorists, too. So once again, Israel becomes the lightning rod of the world’s criticism.

This scenario is so absurd that if it weren't outlined in the Bible, it would not be believable. The ancient Hebrew prophets wrote at length that tiny Israel would upset the entire world no matter what she did, even if it makes sense and proves to be the right choice. Once again, God’s Word proves to be true…it always is!

Confusing Signs!

Sometimes I wonder about people that design signs. I’m sure the concept is clear to them but not always to others.

I came across a sign this past week that is very confusing. Which arrow goes with which word? My guess would be that most people make the wrong choice!

Almost every hour there is something taking place in the news that is a clear sign in bible prophecy that points to the return of Jesus Christ. By the way most people live, I assume that they are either confused by the signs or just can’t “read” them.

I went to my Google News and here are the headlines I find RIGHT NOW as I write this…

The signs are literally everywhere!

Years ago, a song called “Signs” [Five Man Electrical Band]

Sign, Sign everywhere a sign
Blocking out the scenery breaking my mind
Do this, don’t do that, can’t you read the sign.

2 Peter 3:4 says that in the last days, scoffers will come saying, “Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”

To them I would say, “Open your eyes and read the signs!”
